From Berlin to Utah – with a clear voice and a good heart

I was born and raised in Berlin – a city that’s as straightforward as I am. We call it “a sharp tongue with a soft heart” back home. That’s me, too.

Later, I moved to Nuremberg to study business at the renowned Friedrich-Alexander-University. My focus: finance, banking, corporate management, production, and economic geography. Solid and wide-angled, just the way I like it.

After almost ten years as a project manager in the industrial sector, I realized: I want to work differently. Closer to people, closer to real questions.
So in 1994, I founded my own business – offering seminars and coaching in project management. And I still do, with structure, clarity, and a whole lot of experience.

Trading? A secret love since the 80s

I got curious about the stock market back in the mid-1980s. But truth be told, I had no clue what I was doing. Like many, I took some hard hits in the beginning.

In 2009, I decided to get serious. I completed a deep-dive financial training over 2.5 years – and that changed everything. Since then, I’ve been successfully trading with my own strategies.
But just to be clear: I’m not selling miracle systems. I don’t run a Trading Academy or promise overnight success. What I offer is real, grounded, and thoughtful.

Today: Utah, USA – and a life that fits

Since August 2025, I’ve been living in Utah, close to my family. I love being near my three grandchildren – and my daughter, who studied law here and now runs her own legal practice. The wide-open nature of Utah is a blessing.

My life is calm, focused – and full. I live simply – not because I have to, but because I can. I value freedom, smart investing, clarity, and meaningful connection.

Who inspires me?

Two very different men who share quiet strength:

• Ronald Read – janitor, investor, millionaire. Because smart doesn’t have to be flashy.
• Warren Buffett – a reminder that integrity and strategy can go hand in hand.

Because I’m not your Wall Street bro – and definitely not your auntie either. But I can be like the wise woman next door who helps you build knowledge, gain clarity, and confidently decide, manage, and close a trade when the time is right.

Does it always work? No – because markets aren’t predictable. And anyone who claims otherwise is lying. (Yes, even if they’re wearing a fancy suit.)

The name Auntie’s Penny started as a wink. But it stuck because it stands for everything I believe in: approachable finance, solid strategies, and zero shame for late bloomers.

Yes, it’s a nod to the humble penny – often overlooked, but powerful when compounded. And yes, I care more about your long-term growth than hype stocks and fast talk.

This isn’t a trading cult. It’s real talk, real strategy, and a place where you can ask any question without feeling stupid.
